I will now be volunteering with the No. 6 Cinema in Portsmouth

Now that I have finished university, I am looking into volunteering with various film societies/cinemas, and the No. 6 Cinema is one I have wanted to work with for a long time. The cinema is run by volunteers and has the best cinema screen I have ever seen, except perhaps the screens in the BFI or the 4D Imax screen in the National Media Museum in Bradford (the No. 6 Cinema screen is honestly absolutely huge and such amazing quality).

The No. 6 Cinema is located in the Historic Dockyard of Portsmouth, and asidefilm from boasting a fantastic cinema screen, the ticket prices are also really cheap, with special prices for certain films screening on a Wednesday. The film screens the best in art cinema and mainstream film and is run by volunteers.

Needless to say that I am very excited about getting involved with helping out the cinema as I love helping out with anything film-related, and it will also provide me with brilliant experience.

If you are in or around Portsmouth, be sure to check out the No. 6 Cinema by clicking this link.
