Fatal Femmes – Female Obsession in Single White Female and The Hand That Rocks The Cradle

Diegesis

My critical essay exploring female/female obsession in 90’s films Single White Female and The Hand That Rocks The Cradle is my first contribution to Diegesis Film Magazine.

The article critically explores the nature of obsession in both Single White Female and The Hand that Rocks the Cradle and what both films have to say about the impact of tragedy on the fragility of the human mind and how this can lead to disastrous consequences.

This article can be found on pages 4 – 7 of issue 4 CUT TO [Obsession].
